The Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia was established in 2003. As the diplomatic mission of the European Union, the Delegation's task is to promote closer political, trade and cultural ties with Malaysia. The Delegation aims to provide an efficient and reliable communication channel between the EU and Malaysian authorities, business, education institutions and civil society. The EU Delegation works in close contact with the embassies of the individual EU Member States present in Malaysia and promotes the EU common positions and policies in the areas of EU competence. The Head of the Delegation to Malaysia is H.E. Luc Vandebon.
