This dialogue was co-hosted by ASEF and the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) to facilitate dialogue with the national delegations of ASEM on the interconnections between biotechnology, sustainable development, and trade. The dialogue was held under the banner of the Asia-Europe Environment Forum, a series of meetings on specific environmental concerns for the two regions.
